Born: July 1941
Raised and educated in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales.
Left High School at end of 3rd Year to become an apprentice mechanic / fitter and turner, working mainly with Caterpillar earth moving machinery.
Attended night school to study matriculation subjects in order to be accepted into the Ministerial Course to Ordination in the Presbyterian Church of Australia.
Ordained in 1971 and inducted into the parish of Katoomba/Leura/Wentworth Falls.

Translated to Bendigo, Victoria 1985.
Translated to Hamilton, NSW 1996 - 2012.
Supply Minister at Singleton Uniting Church since 2012.
Whilst Minister of Bendigo, served on the Victorian Theological Education Committee for nine years, and was elected Business Convener of the General Assembly.
Returning to NSW, was elected State Moderator 1999.

Married to Lynne, have five children and grandchildren.
Growing orchids and an active interest in financial markets are hobbies.
